The FA Continental Women’s League Cup Group Stage 2 features Chelsea versus Spurs and two Merseyside-Manchester clashes.
The second round of midweek Conti Cup ties feature live streams of holders Chelsea taking on Tottenham and Liverpool’s afternoon kick-off with FA Cup winners Manchester City, while Everton look to bounce back from their final disappointment when hosting Manchester United.
On Fran Kirby’s injury sustained during an England training game last week, Chelsea head coach Emma Hayes told the club’s website: ‘Fran’s been assessed by the medical team, she’s got an ankle injury and she’ll be out for weeks. I don’t know how many so I’m not going to put a number on it but hopefully it won’t be too long and we look forward to seeing her back on the pitch soon.”
Championship top two Sheffield United and Durham go head-to-head, while London City Lionesses have a huge test against Arsenal, for which they warmed up with an excellent win over Leicester City on Sunday.
