Ryan Dempsey, first team manager, said, “We’re really pleased to have arranged fixtures against teams that are all in higher divisions than us. They’re all in leagues we’re aspiring to be in. All four games will challenge us in different ways but will stand us in good stead for the forthcoming season.
“It’s been a difficult pre-season – the same as every other club – but it’s been good to see everyone’s smiling faces. I’m really happy with being able to train as a whole group again. Oxford United will be a very difficult first game as I believe they will be in the top four pushing for promotion next season. It’s a challenge that we’re looking forward to.”
