Emily Donovan has joined Lewes FC Women after competing in last season’s FA Women’s Super League for Yeovil Town.
The Rooks say that the University of Bath graduate also spent a year at Oxford United where she played for England Universities and also for the Team GB squad at the World University Games in Taipei.
Midfielder Donovan told the club’s website: I’m delighted to have joined Lewes ahead of the upcoming season. It’s an ambitious club with strong social values and I’m looking forward to playing a part in what they’re striving to achieve.”
Manager Fran Alonso added: “Despite her being very young she already has great experience in the professional game. Emily will definitely help us to increase our levels of professionalism. She had other options but always showed the desire to play for Lewes and we are delighted she is with us now.”
