Redditch United won the West Midlands 1 South title decider on Sunday 27 May, to add to their earlier divisional cup success.
Coventry Sphinx began the day top of the table and only needed a home draw to stay that way, however, a 2-0 win for Redditch saw them crowned champions and their hosts finishing runners-up.
It was the third time in three weeks that the two teams had gone head-to-head and both preceding games had been close encounters.
After a goalless first half, Ellie Gerhold broke the deadlock for Redditch with a volley on 52 minutes.
Georgia Harris lobbed the Sphinx goalkeeper from distance inside the final 10 minutes to make sure of the points.
But both teams can now look forward to competing in the West Midland League Premier Division next season.
