It hasn’t been a good week for Irish FA Cup holders Linfield, knocked out of the competition on Monday, they lost their league leadership two days later.

They were behind on 22 minutes when Dias fired a fierce shot high into the far corner of the net but soon after Kirsty McGuinness was denied by the post, Alison Smyth blasted in the equaliser from outside the box after 29 minutes.

On the hour mark, Aimee Mackin won the ball in the box and fired low into the far corner for what proved to be the winner.

Cliftonville Share Six Goals With Glens

Molly White cut inside to set up Billie Simpson for the hosts’ opening goal but the Glens were soon level through Carragh Milligan.

Two minutes into the second half, Milligan unleashed an unstoppable shot past Anna McCleary and it was 3-1 when Ali McMaster’s effort went in off Cliftonville’s Rebecca Cargill.

Emma McAleese reduced the arrears before Simpson grabbed a stoppage-time leveller.

Swifts Sink Allstars

Basement side Ballymena lost for the sixth time on the spin with a 4-0 home reverse to Sion Swifts.

It was 2-0 at half-time through a brace by Amy Boyle-Carr, with Kendra McMullan and Chloe McGlade both getting on the scoresheet in the second half.
