Kicking off with Northern Ireland 0-2 Spain & Scotland 0-3 Germany in the first round of games, then featuring Netherlands 2-0 England and France 6-1 Italy in the second round, and in the last set of group fixtures England’s 0-1 defeat to France and Germany’s 6-0 win over Northern Ireland. Finishing up with England’s 2-0 defeat of Scotland in a play off to secure the last available place for the U20 WWC in France (who automatically qualify as host) next year.
