Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of 28-year-old defender Victoria Williams from Sunderland and goalkeeper Sophie Harris, formerly of London Bees.
Seagulls manager Hope Powell said, “We are delighted to welcome Victoria to the club.
“She is someone with plenty of experience, having played at the top level for Chelsea, and will add to our defensive options.
“Her versatility will also prove to be very useful, as she can play anywhere across the back line.”
Williams also previously played at the top level with Doncaster Rovers Belles and Sunderland, while having represented England through youth age-levels up to the U-23s.
Harris (23) was part of the Arsenal squad that won the FA WSL and Continental Tyres Cup, as well as competing in the Champions League.
The shot-stopper spent four years with London Bees and has represented England up to U-20 level.
Powell said of the new addition to her goalkeeping ranks: “It is an area where we were looking to strengthen following Chloe’s [Sansom] departure at the end of last season, and she will increase the competition for places here.
“She already has some good experience at a relatively young age, and I am very much looking forward to working with her this season.”
