Central Girls FA And Kilmarnock Stretch SWFL Leads

Central Girls and Killie went further clear in Scottish League Division 1 North and South respectively, while Bayside and Blackburn United dropped their first points in SWFL 2.

Dunfermline defeat Falkirk FC 3-1 with Kerry Walker bagging a brace, Granite City got a 4-2 win over Dee Ladies and Inverness hit Westdyle Dee Vale for six, while Stirling University Development went seventh with a 5-2 success at Tayside, with the home side having a player sent off.

FC Kilmarnock stretched their lead at the summit of SWFL 1 South to 8 points, winning the top of the table clash at Hibernian Development 3-2, where Colette Fleming notched the decider.

Cumbernauld gained ground on Hibs with a similar scoreline at Boroughmuir Thistle, Frances Fern netting all three goals for the Colts. Renfrew put six past Queens Park, Celtic Academy edged Rangers Development in a seven-goal thriller and Westerlands sent Hearts Development to an eleventh straight defeat with a 6-1 result.

The leading pair in SWFL 2 North both netted 11 times as Deveronvale won at Moray and Buchan Youth beat Buckie. Stonehaven made it wins throughout the top 3 with 5 goals at Ross County.

In 2 Central leaders Blackburn United dropped points for the first time in 13 games, held 1-1 at home by title rivals Airdrie. Glasgow Girls Development moved to within 6 points of second with a 9-0 win at Broxburn Athletic.

Bayside also lost their 100% record in 2 East after being frustrated by East Fife Violets in a 1-1 tie. Second-placed Raith Rovers cut the gap to 4 points thanks to their 2-1 win at Montrose.

Division 2 West leaders Morton are now unbeaten in a dozen matches after their latest success, a 5-0 home win against Kilwinning. Dumbarton United stayed 4 points behind after posting a 7-2 success at FC Kilmarnock U-23s.
