Yeovil Go Top Of WSL 2 On Goals Scored

Saturday April 30th
FA WSL 2
Millwall Lionesses 0-4 Yeovil Town (Att: 732)

Millwall’s Lilli Maple was forced to clear off the line from an Ellie Curson shot before Helen Bleazard went round keeper Sarah Quantrill to score from Sarah Wiltshire’s long ball.

Yeovil doubled their lead in emphatic fashion on 71 minutes when Heatherson sent a thunderbolt from outside the box into the top-right corner.

The striker hit the bar moments later but made no mistake from two yards out when Natasha Knapman headed back towards goal for Heatherson to tap in from close range.

Wiltshire then got on the scoresheet with a perfectly placed half-volley from the edge of the box.

The Lionesses then lost Danielle Carlton who was stretchered off in stoppage time.
