#WPWL: Swansea City Ladies back in pole position

Swansea City retook top spot in the Orchard Welsh Premier Women’s League, with Cardiff Met not playing until midweek.

Stacey John-Davis’ goal had Swansea City ahead early on against Cascade but it was the 57th minute before they got their second through Kelly Adams. Katie Hosford was next on target and two late goals completed John-Davis’ hat-trick.

Cardiff City FC scored three first-half goals to seal the points against Port Talbot Town and go three points clear in third. Phoebie Poole bagged a brace in the opening 19 minutes and Danielle Green wrapped it up just before the break.

Abergavenny halved the gap on fourth-placed Port Talbot with both goals of the game at Aberystwyth Town. Ffion David made the breakthrough on 25 minutes and Caitlin Davies doubled the advantage before the hour mark.

Briton Ferry Llansawel moved within a point of sixth-placed Cyncoed when sending them to a narrow defeat. Lucy Powell got the game’s only goal after just seven minutes.
