#WPWL : Port Talbot take point despite missing three penalties

Big wins for Cardiff Met and Swansea City, a second victory for Llandudno and an extraordinary 1-1 draw at Cardiff City FC where Port Talbot Town missed three penalties.

Cardiff Met stretched their lead at the top to 4 points when hitting hosts Briton Ferry Llansawel for six. Robyn Pinder hit a hat-trick, Tija Richardson and Madison Schupbach were also among the goals.

Swansea City went second in the table after sinking Rhyl 7-0. Jodie Passmore featured with a four-goal haul, Emma Beynon bagged a brace and Sophie Hancocks got the other goal.

Port Talbot Town stayed a point ahead of Cardiff City FC after a 1-1 draw in which they were awarded four penalties but incredibly missed three of them. Alana Murphy gave the Bluebirds the lead and the visitors failed from the spot before levelling early in the second half from 12 yards out. Their third penalty hit the bar and the fourth – 3 minutes from time – was struck over the top.

Llandudno gained a second win of the league season, 2-0 at basement side Caernarfon Town. The hosts were denied by the bar from Katie Bowe’s free kick before the visitors scored twice in 6 minutes after the restart through Jordanne Greenough and Mari Gibbard.
