#WPWL: Norman nets Cyncoed winner

Only one game in the Orchard Welsh Premier Women’s League survived the weather and a single goal settled that as Cyncoed won away to Rhyl.

Rhyl were unable to add to their three points as sixth-placed Cyncoed clinched a fourth win of the campaign.

A Sophie Norman long-range strike in the first half was sufficient to take maximum points back to the capital.

The fixtures between Briton Ferry Llansawel and Abergavenny, Cardiff Met and Port Talbot Town were both postponed.

There are no league games next Sunday as it’s the FAW Women’s Cup quarter-finals:

Cardiff City FC v Rhyl
Cyncoed v Cardiff Met
Llandudno v Abergavenny
Briton Ferry Llansawel v Caernarfon Town
