Cardiff Met went top of the WPWL, Llandudno claimed their first points, while Kinmel Bay pushed Caernarfon Town all the way before exiting the Welsh Cup in an eleven-goal thriller.

Cardiff Met went back to the top of the league with a 2-0 win over third-placed Swansea City, replacing Port Talbot Town as leaders. Madison Schupbach scored at the second attempt after only 2 minutes and Naomi Clipston doubled the lead just after the half hour.
Llandudno got off the mark with a 2-1 result against Briton Ferry Llansawel, whom they are now level on points with. Jordanne Greenough opened the scoring for the hosts and struck again with less than half an hour left, Briton Ferry later pulling one back.
It was all away wins in the FAW Women’s Cup ties left over from last week, featuring a fine effort by Kinmel Bay before they bowed out 6-5 to Caernarfon Town. Niomi Taylor netted a treble for Bay, Jasmine Kepil and Jessica Jones one each but Ffion Owen hit a treble for Town, Steph Davies a single and Katie Bowe scored the last two goals of the game, to set up a trip to Llanfair United on 18th November.
Abergavenny ran out 8-0 winners at Willows and next host Cascade Youth Club, 2-1 winners over Dafen Welfare. Eliza Atkins and Ceri Hudson bagged a brace each for Abergavenny, Laura-Jane Davies, Kate Jeremiah, Katie Adams and Lyndsey Davies all adding one each. Cascade came from behind to win, Sara Collins equalising from distance and Anny Lewis’s cross forcing an own-goal.
Port Talbot will now play away to Cardiff City FC Women after overwhelming Penrhyncoch 16-0, Laura-May Walkley leading the way with a seven-goal haul. Town boss Hayley Williams took the Manager of the Month accolade, City forward Catherine Walsh was Player of the Month.
