Women’s & Girls’ Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach

Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club are now offering a rare and exciting opportunity for a Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our women’s and girls’ medical team. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to lead on the provision of strength and conditioning and sport science of the women’s and girls’ programme.

Albion will be at the forefront of the Football Association’s bold plans to revolutionise women’s club football in England after they were accepted to join next season’s fully professional Super League division one. This is an exciting time to join the women’s set up as Albion become one of ten all-professional sides in the top tier of the domestic female game.

This is a full time role and due to the nature of the position, the successful candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours to include regular evenings and weekends, plus travel as required. This role will be exposed to a wider medical team to include academy and first team medical staff and access to internal medical CPD events.

Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in Sports Science or Strength & Conditioning from a recognised University and will be UKSCA accredited. The successful candidate will also have at least three years’ experience in the provision of Strength & Conditioning services to elite athletes and coaches, which should include work with high performance teams or squads. Candidates must have experience in the design, implementation and monitoring of Strength and Conditioning programmes for elite footballers.
