With the group stage of Women’s Euro 2025 coming to an end on Saturday, here we take a look at the updated odds for who will win the Golden Boot award.
The 2022 Golden Boot was shared between England’s Beth Mead and Germany’s Alexandra Popp with six goals apiece.
Two players at Euro 2025 are already halfway to six goals after just two games. Six goals remains the record amount of goals by a player at a single Women’s Euros.
Before the tournament, Spain’s Esther Gonzalez was favourite to win the Golden Boot ahead of Alessia Russo and Sandy Balitmore.
Below, we take a look at the updated odds with the current 10 favourites to win the Golden Boot at Women’s Euro 2025 as per the UK’s top betting sites.
The list does not include Lauren James, despite her brace against the Netherlands on Wednesday night. Beth Mead, who was in the top 10 before the tournament, drops out after not scoring in her opening two games.
Euro 2025 Golden Boot: Top 10 favourites to win the prize
10. Vivianne Miedema (Netherlands) – 40/1
Starting the list is Netherlands star Vivianne Miedema who scored a stunning goal during their 3-0 victory over Wales.
Her 40/1 odds of winning the Golden Boot is perhaps down to the fact that the Dutch might not make the knockout phase.
According to the UK’s top betting sites, the Dutch are now third-favourites to win Group D at odds of 100/1, with the bookmakers predicting France and England to reach the quarter-finals.

9. Marie-Antoinette Katoto (France) (33/1)
Lyon striker Marie-Antoinette Katoto also has one goal to her name after scoring in France’s 2-1 victory over England.
The striker has four goals in 10 appearances for Les Bleus in 2025. France are expected to make a deep run into the tournament as the current second-favourites to lift the trophy next month.
Interestingly, French teammate Sandy Baltimore is no longer in the top 10 despite also scoring against England. She was third-favourite to win the Golden Boot before the tournament.
8. Stina Blackstenius (Sweden) – 33/1
Stina Blackstenius, who scored the Champions League winner for Arsenal against Barcelona in May, is eighth in this list.
The Arsenal star would have been disappointed not to score against Denmark, but netted her first goal of the tournament in the 3-0 win over Poland.
Sweden are already through to the quarter-finals. However, she will hope to add to her tally in their final group game against Germany.

7. Ada Hegerberg (Norway) – 33/1
Ada Hegerberg slips one place in the top 10 Golden Boot contenders list from the one before the tournament started.
The Lyon star also has one goal to her name after scoring an equaliser for Norway against Switzerland in their opener.
Norway are already through to the group stage. She has a chance to add to her tally – if she starts – when Norway face Iceland on Thursday night.
6. Alessia Russo (England) – 25/1
Alessia Russo is sixth in this list despite not scoring in either of England’s opening two Euro 2025 games.
The Arsenal striker is desperately unlucky not to have two goals to her name. She put the ball in the back of the net against France and the Netherlands but both goals were ruled out for offside.
Russo though does top the Euro 2025 assist charts after providing three goals against the Netherlands. Secretly, she might be wishing to top the Golden Boot list instead.

5. Mariona Caldentey (Spain) – 20/1
Four of the top five in the Golden Boot odds at Women’s Euro 2025 represent Spain – suggesting just why they are favourites to win the trophy for the first time.
The first of those Spain players is Arsenal star Mariona Caldentey.
Caldentey scored her first goal in the 6-2 win over Belgium, and she will hope to add to her tally when they face Italy on Friday night.
4. Claudia Pina (Spain) – 20/1
Claudia Pina is also at 20/1 odds and, like Caldentey, scored her first goal of the tournament in the eight-goal thriller with Belgium.
Though Caldentey and Pina might be in the top-five, their chances are perhaps impacted by the level of attacking talent in this Spain squad.
3. Lea Schuller (Germany) – 8/1
The only player not representing Spain in the top five of the Women’s Euro 2025 Golden Boot odds is Germany’s Lea Schuller.
She netted her first goal in Germany’s comfortable 2-0 victory against Poland in their Euro 2025 opener.
Schuller then scored the match-winner for Germany in their 2-1 win against Denmark. Germany have advanced into the quarter-finals, making Schuller a strong contender to win the Golden Boot.

2. Alexia Putellas (Spain) – 13/5
Barcelona star Alexia Putellas was not even in the top 10 in the odds for the Golden Boot before the tournament.
However, she has made an excellent start to the tournament with three goals from Spain’s opening two games.
Putellas opener her tally in the 5-0 win against Portugal, before netting a brace against Belgium.
It would be a surprise if she doesn’t score more goals in this tournament given Spain’s exceptional attacking play.
1. Esther Gonzalez (Spain) – 6/4
Esther Gonzalez remains the favourite to win the Golden Boot award at Women’s Euro 2025.
Gonzalez, in reverse to Putellas, scored a brace against Portugal and added another goal against Belgium.
The Gotham FC striker has been in electric form in 2025, but will face a tough challenge from her Spain teammates, and the likes of Germany’s Lea Schuller, to win the Golden Boot.
Hannah Eurlings drew Belgium level against Spain, but as with their first equaliser, it only lasted two minutes.
