Women’s Euro 2025 promises to showcase some of the best attacking talents in world football, and here we look at the odds to identify the 10 favourites to win the Golden Boot award.

The 2022 tournament was a goal-fest with the Golden Boot shared between England’s Beth Mead and Germany’s Alexandra Popp.

Mead is again a contender at Euro 2025, though Popp has since retired from international football.

However, Mead will face fierce competition from her international rivals, as well as her own teammates.

Below, we take a closer look at the 10 top favourites to win the Women’s Euro 2025 Golden Boot, based on the latest odds from the best betting sites in the UK.

Women’s Euro 2025 Golden Boot odds

10. Beth Mead – England (16/1)

England record – 36 goals in 68 appearances, Arsenal record in 2024-25 – 10 goals in 37 appearances

Beth Mead fired England to glory at Euro 2022 with six goals to help the Lionesses win the trophy for the first time.

The Arsenal star is one player who could break a record at Euro 2025, if she adds five more goals to her tally in Switzerland.

Mead provides a relentless threat from the right flank, she has forged a strong partnership with striker Alessia Russo.

However, it is her Arsenal teammate Russo who is now seen as England’s primary goalscoring threat.

After missing the 2023 World Cup with an ACL injury, Mead will be determined to make a significant impact at Euro 2025. Mead though will need to rediscover her clinical form from Euro 2022 to contend for the Golden Boot.

9. Caroline Graham Hansen – Norway (16/1)

Norway record – 46 goals in 105 appearances, Barcelona record in 2024-25 – 16 goals in 35 appearances

Caroline Graham Hansen is widely regarded as one of the best wingers in world football.

At 30, she remains a constant threat on the flank, with her pace, dribbling and crossing abilities making her a danger to any defence.

While Norway may not be considered as one of the tournament favourites, Hansen could benefit from her country’s kind Group A draw.

The two-time winners of the European Championship are favourites to get out of a group that includes hosts Switzerland, Iceland, and Finland.

If Hansen racks up the goals in the group stage, then she could put herself in contention to win the trophy.

8. Klara Buhl – Germany (13/1)

Germany record – 28 goals in 67 appearances, Bayern Munich record in 2024-25 – 10 goals in 35 appearances

Klara Buhl has become one of Germany’s most exciting talents thanks to her versatility, pace and dribbling.

At the young age of 24, she already has 67 caps and 28 goals to her name.

Germany are the most successful side in Women’s European Championship history with eight wins to their name.

Their Euro 2022 final defeat was followed by a shocking early group-stage exit from the 2023 World Cup. However, since then Germany have reacted strongly and are scoring goals for fun.

Over their last five games, Germany have scored 24 goals – with at least four goals in each match. It is that sort of scoring record which makes Buhl a contender for the Golden Boot award.

7. Mariona Caldentey – Spain (11/1)

Spain record – 29 goals in 86 appearances, Arsenal record 2024-25 – 19 goals in 41 appearances

Mariona Caldentey enjoyed an excellent debut season at Arsenal, after arriving from Barcelona in the summer of 2024.

The 29-year-old won the WSL Player of the Season award, and helped the Gunners beat Barcelona to win the Champions League.

Her ability to create space in tight situations and produce moments of magic makes her a constant threat to any team.

Spain are the favourites to win Euro 2025, immediately making Caldentey a contender for the Golden Boot.

However, the incredible level of talent within the Spain squad means that the goals could be shared between several players.

6. Ada Hegerberg – Norway (11/1)

Norway record – 49 goals in 91 appearances, Lyon record 2024-25 – Seven goals in 22 appearances

Veteran striker Ada Hegerberg might not get the same amount of goals as she did in her prime, but she is still a force to be reckoned with.

Hegerberg, who was named the best player in the world in 2016, is still an important asset for Norway.

Like Hansen, the 29-year-old could benefit from Norway’s kind Group A draw at Euro 2025.

She scored seven goals in 22 appearances this season, compared to 21 in 25 outings during the 2023-24 campaign.

However, if she can stay fit and find her rhythm at Euro 2025, she could be one of the frontrunners for the Golden Boot.

5. Claudia Pina – Spain (9/1)

Spain record – Seven goals in 15 appearances, Barcelona record in 2024-25 – 17 goals in 37 appearances

Barcelona star Claudia Pina is a dark horse for the Golden Boot at Women’s Euro 2025.

This will be the first major international tournament for the 23-year-old, who ruled herself out of Spain’s World Cup squad in 2023 due to her dissatisfaction with then-head coach Jorge Vilda.

Pina scored her first senior international goal against South Korea in November and now has seven to her name.

Her ability to break through defences and her calmness in front of goal makes her a potent threat.

Similar to Caldentey, Pina’s main obstacle for the Golden Boot is the amount of natural goalscorers that are in the Spain squad around her.

4. Lea Schuller – Germany (8/1)

Germany record – 52 goals in 75 appearances, Bayern Munich record in 2024-25 – 16 goals in 35 appearances

Lea Schuller is one of the most lethal strikers in Europe and has an incredible goalscoring record for Germany.

Her physicality, positioning, and ability to finish, makes her a nightmare for opposition defenders.

She has become Germany’s main attacking outlet following the retirement of Alexandra Popp and is expected to score plenty of goals this summer.

Germany have been scoring goals for fun in recent months, so Schuller is well-positioned to make a serious threat at challenging for the Golden Boot.

3. Sandy Baltimore – France (15/2)

France record – Nine goals in 43 appearances, Chelsea record in 2024-25 – Nine goals in 29 appearances

Sandy Baltimore scored just four goals for France from making her debut in 2020 until the end of 2024.

However, the Chelsea star has been in electric form for her country in 2025. Her five goals in 2025, is better than she did in all those previous years combined.

Her speed, versatility, dribbling and ability to deliver dangerous crosses makes her an asset for her country.

According to the UK’s best betting sites, France are third favourites to win the trophy in Switzerland.

If France make it out of a difficult Group D, then Balitmore could put herself in Golden Boot contention.

2. Alessia Russo – England (7/1)

England record – 23 goals in 51 appearances, Arsenal record in 2024-25 – 20 goals in 41 appearances

Alessia Russo has seen her stock grow significantly since Euro 2022 – where she netted four goals.

The 26-year-old has become one of the best strikers in world football and enjoyed a tremendous season with Arsenal.

Russo helped the Gunners win the Champions League, while also clinching the WSL Golden Boot with 12 goals in 21 outings.

With a combination of strength, agility and an eye for goal, Russo has become a major asset for England.

England are expected to go far in the tournament, making Russo one of the top contenders to score the most goals this summer.

1. Esther Gonzalez – Spain (11/2)

Spain record – 33 goals in 48 appearances, Gotham FC stats in 2025 – 10 goals in 13 appearances

Gotham FC striker Esther Gonzalez is top of the odds list to win the Golden Boot at Women’s Euro 2025.

Gonzalez has been in electric form for Gotham in 2025 and will lead the line for tournament favourites Spain this summer.

The former Real Madrid striker is a menace off the ball and her precise finishing will make her a huge goalscoring threat in Switzerland.

Playing alongside the likes of Mariona Caldentey and Claudia Pina, Gonzalez will face fierce competition within her own team for the Golden Boot.

However, according to the best UK betting sites, if there is any Spain player likely to take the Golden Boot award, then it is Gonzalez.

Golden Boot prediction

Our prediction for the Golden Boot award is England and Arsenal striker Alessia Russo.

Russo scored four goals at Euro 2022 and has come on leaps and bounds since that tournament three years ago.

England are expected to go deep into the tournament and Russo will be England’s main goalscoring threat.

Spain are more likely to share their goals throughout the squad. They have strong contenders in Esther Gonzalez, Claudia Pina and Mariona Caldentey, but also players who don’t make the top 10 in the bookies’ odds including Alexia Putellas.

Russo could be pushed strongly for the Golden Boot award by Germany’s Lea Schuller.
