Who Is Going To Give 100%?

With the new league season just a few weeks away and many teams confident of a good campaign, how many will match the eight sides that won every game in 2015-16?

Here we take a brisk look through all the winter leagues to highlight the teams with perfect records from last season.

Only eight sides managed that acheivement, one in the FAWPL, one in the Regional Leagues and six in the County Leagues.

The most senior side to win all their league matches was Leicester City Women in the FA Premier League Midlands Division 1 but they needed an 88th-minute goal in their last game at Wolves to complete this.

Just the one Regional League side avoided dropping a point, as Clapham United won all 18 fixtures in the Greater London Division 2 North to take the tile by 8 points.

Only six County League teams were able to maintain perfect records;

Birmingham Division 2’s Boldmere St.Michaels rattled in 173 goals in their 16 victories and their defence was breached just the 9 times.

Buckland Athletic (pictured top) cruised to the Devon Division 1 championship, whilst averaging nearly 16 goals a game.

Hartlepool United won the Durham League by 14 points having taken the maximum total from their 14 matches.
