The Avenir All-Island Cup semi-finals will be an all League of Ireland affair after Linfield bowed out to Wexford.
Ceola Bergin’s opener for Wexford was swiftly cancelled out by Keri Halliday, only for Freya de Mange to restore the lead straight after the restart from the centre circle. Áine Walsh fired the visitors 3-1 up just before the break, Halliday pulling it back to 3-2 with her second of the day around the hour mark.
Wexford will go to the winners of the Galway United v Treaty United tie – being played Saturday 29 June, 2pm at Eamonn Deacy Park – in the semi-finals on week ending 21 July.

Shamrock Rovers eliminated Peamount United 3-0, set up by a 44th-minute goal from Lauren Kelly. Aine O’Gorman broke into the box and exchanged passes with Lauren Kelly before doubling the lead, then from a Maria Reynolds header Lia O’Leary made added a late third.
Rovers will visit unbeaten League of Ireland leaders Shelbourne for a place in the final, which is scheduled for the week ending 18 August.
Shelbourne came from behind to beat their closest rivals to the league title, Noelle Murray equalising Casey Howe’s goal deep into first-half added time, before grabbing the decider with 12 minutes left.
