James joined Stoke City in 2012, before moving to Wolves and scooping the Reserves Player of the Season award in 2014/15.
She broke into the first team the following campaign, helping the club to a runners up place in the FAWPL Midlands Division One, before playing a role in last season’s title winning team.
Boss Louis Sowe says he is looking forward to working with James.
“From what I have seen in training, Hattie will excite supporters with her ability to score goals and create chances.
“She is also versatile and can opt as a winger or a striker, which is obviously a great asset to us.
“Although Hattie is 24-years-old, there is still a lot for her to work on, but I’m really looking forward to help bring out the best in her.”
