Port Talbot and Aberystwyth needed extra-time to seperate them, having finished 2-2 after 90 minutes. The home side had equalised with a minute remaining, then struck four times without reply to book their passage. Vicki Stratton got a couple, Jesci Hare, Terri Beddows, Lisa Franklin and Jessica Hammett one each,
Swansea City progressed to the semi-finals following a 3-0 win at Llandudno, where Jodie Passmore, Stacey John and Sophie Hancocks found the net.
The all-Cardiff clash saw the Archers run out 4-1 winners over City, with all the goals coming in the second half.
Abergavenny won 5-2 at newcomers Briton Ferry, with Gabi Hughes, Alana Murphy, Kate Jeremiah and Lyndsey Davies their scorers, plus an own goal. Mollie Jones and Claudia Meyrick were on target for the hosts.
