What colours do you play in? Yellow shirts & blue shorts (it’s just like watching Brasil!)

What is your teacher’s/coach’s name? Mark Wilkinson & Paul Godwin (the Oldies!)

Do they have any funny sayings or things they do a lot? “How longs left ref?”

What are the names of the girls on the team? Holly, Abi, Hannah, Louise, Grace, Fern, Hope, Ellie, Amie, Rosanna

Are there any ‘stars’ we should know about and why? The whole team are all stars as they won both the league title and cup last season

Do you have a team song that you sing or a song that a lot of your team like? Abba – “Eagle” & Sham 69 “If the Kids are united” (the dads like that one)

When do you train/practice and when do you play your games? We train on Thursday evenings and play on Saturday mornings

What league/cup do you play in and do you have to travel far for your matches? We play in the Mercian Girls League, the longest distance is about 20 miles away for away matches

Who is the LOUDEST on the team? Thats an easy one to answer……Abi Smith…..haven’t you heard her on a Saturday morning?

Have you been to watch any senior women’s league, cup or international matches? If so, which and when? Some of the team were lucky enough to see some games in the Olympics. Fern and Grace watched USA v Japan….what a game!

Who are the team’s favourite players and why? Ferns favourite player was Ricardo Fuller from Stoke City, he scored some amazing goals and never gave up chasing the ball. The team also like players such as Abby Wambach and Kelly Smith for proving girls can bend it like Beckham! Its a good job One Direction don’t play football, the magazine would have had to print extra pages to fit all the comments in!
