Spurs U-11s went the whole season unbeaten in the Hertfordshire Girls League, won their League Cup and also reached the Capital Cup final.

What is your team name? Tottenham Hotspur Ladies U-11s

Does the team-have a nickname, if so, what is it? Spurs

What colors do you play in? Navy blue and white, purple for the goalkeeper

What is your teacher’s / coach’s name? Dan Barley is our coach

Do they have funny sayings or things they say a lot? “Laces!”

What are the names of the girls on the team? Lili, Sophie, Daisy, Emily, Charlotte, Gemma, Laicia, Remi, Courtney, Haneeka and Kiran

Are there any ‘stars’ we should know about and why? All of the team are stars because we all pass and we all have skills

Do you have a team song that you sing or that a lot of your team like? When Spurs go marching in

When do you train / practice and when do you play your games? We train every Wednesday evenings; we play every Saturday and sometimes Sunday for a Cup match

What league / cup do you play in and do you have to travel far for your games? We play in the Hertfordshire League and Cup, and the London Cup. We travel all over Hertfordshire for games – the furthest for us is Stevenage and Watford

Who is the LOUDEST on the team? The parents, who give us such great support

Have you been to watch any senior women’s league, cup or international matches? If so, which and when? Tottenham Ladies 1st team against West Ham this season. It was very exciting with West Ham winning on penalties. Also Tottenham against Charlton in the Ryman League Womens’ Cup Final, which Charlton won.

Who are the team’s favourite players and why? Alex Scott, who is a great role model, Stephanie Roche, for her fantastic goal [FIFA Ballon D’or runner-up], Eartha Pond, Bianca Baptiste and Rosie Kmita from Tottenham Ladies, Olivier Giroud, Neymar, Alexis Sanchez, Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, Michel Vorm, Hugo Lloris and Antonio Valencia
