Those joining the Golden Girls are: Cherrelle Albert, Rinsola Babajide, Leah Cudone, Lilli Maple, Meghan McKeag and Vicky Neal.
A number of players from 2016 have also signed up for the new campaign. Among those Watford have retained are: Ruby Baxter, Adekite Fatuga-Dada, Lucy Gillett, Lauren Jordinson, Charlotte Kerr and Anneka Nuttall.
Chloe Bassett, Kerry Walklett and Caoimhe O’Reilly will also be stepping up to the first team fold. The trio have all either featured or been in the squad for the first team previously.
Watford say that four of the new arrivals have previously represented Millwall Lionesses in the FA WSL.
Babajide featured 40 times over the last two campaigns. She was their top scorer in 2015 and was a constant thorn in the Watford defence in games between the sides.
She’s joined at the club by Maple, the combative midfielder passed a half-century of appearances while at the Lionesses. Lilli was last at Crystal Palace where she netted four times in eight games.
Albert was an almost ever-present at Millwall in the first season of WSL 2 and has in the past enjoyed productive spells at both West Ham and QPR.
Completing the ex-Millwall quartet is McKeag. It’s not her first spell with Golden Girls, having previously played for the club in the 2011-12 season.
After a prolific time in the Premier League South East Division 1, Cudone makes the step up to the WSL with Watford. Leah has already scored 15 times this season and managed 29 in 27 appearances the previous campaign.
The final new signing is Neal. The centre-back was registered with Watford in the 2015 season and was looking like making the breakthrough to the first team until injuries set her back. She’ll now get her chance to do so in the Spring Series.
