Wales Women’s U-19s took part in a training camp at Colliers Park, Wrexham last week and it’s the U-17s’ turn from 25-28 May.

Loren Dykes leads both camps, assisted by Nicola Anderson and Jen Herst for the U-19s and Nia Davies and Pete Wilson for the U-17s, reports faw.cymru.

The 28-player squad for the U-19s camp included Wales international Maria Francis-Jones along with Bethan Roberts and Bethan McGowan, who have both been involved in senior team camps in the last twelve months.

The U-17 squad will feature several players that were due to take part in the 2019/20 U-17 EURO Elite Round prior to the tournament being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Across both camps, 21 players have been called up that are currently involved in the Welsh pyramid, which will have a key focus on youth player development as part of its restructure for the 2021/22 season.
