Gemma Grainger has announced a 25-player squad for Wales match against New Zealand in Spain on Tuesday 28 June at 6pm, reports faw.cymru.

Wales will travel to Pinatar without Jess Fishlock who is being rested, while Manchester United goalkeeper Safia Middleton-Patel received her first senior call up having previously played for the U-19s.

Ahead of the trip to Spain, a two-day development camp will see several new faces including Bethan McGowan and Phoebie Poole, who have both played in the Genero Adran Premier in recent years.

The New Zealand test is the final match ahead of the two remaining FIFA World Cup qualifiers in early September,  away to Greece and home to Slovenia. Wales are vying for their first ever spot in the play-offs and tickets for the match against Slovenia at the Cardiff City Stadium which start at only £2 (group bookings) and £4 (individual bookings) for kids, are available at faw.cymru/tickets.
