After their historic Bob Docherty U-15 Cup success earlier this year, Wales are now searching for the players who will defend the home nations crown in 2018.
The FAW Trust are holding a national trial to recruit for the next Wales Girls’ squad and, if you know somebody who could be the next Jess Fishlock or Sophie Ingle, here are the details you need:
On Thursday 27th July at Dragon Park, Newport International Sports Village (NP19 4RA), there is player reistration from 10.15am and the trials from 11am to 1pm.
Who Qualifies?
This trial is for players born in or after 2003.
Players who meet the following criteria qualify to play for Wales:
- You were born in Wales
- You have a parent who was born in Wales
- You have a grandparent who was born in Wales
- You have undergone compulsory education in Wales (primary or secondary under the age of 16) for a minimum of 5 years.
How do I sign my players up?
Complete the nomination form by Friday 21st July to nominate a player for the Wales U-15 Girls National Football Team Trials.
