Wales squad selected for UEFA Women’s U-17 qualifiers

Nia Davies has selected her Wales squad for their UEFA Women’s U-17 Championship qualifying group in the Netherlands.

Davies has named a 20-player squad for the League A Round 2 fixtures against the Netherlands, Finland and Sweden, reports faw.cymru.

Several players from the FAW’s Girls Academy squads have been name in the squad, while there is also Genero Adran Premier representation with two players from Pontypridd United included.

Wales begin the mini-tournament against the Netherlands on Wednesday 8 March in Oldenzaal, before taking on Finland three days later, followed by Sweden on Tuesday 14 March.
