Wolfsburg were the first to book a place in the UEFA Women’s Champions League final following a narrow 1-0 victory over Barcelona.
Fridolina Rolfo got the only goal on 58 minutes, when stabbing the ball home from close range following Ewa Pajor’s overhead kick.
Wolfsburg keeper Friederike Abt did well to tip a deflected corner over her own bar, before Barcelona’s Caroline Graham Hansen worked herself a clear opportunity but only found the side-netting.
Wolfsburg counter-attacked at pace and Svenja Huth twice went close, her second attempt parried off the line before being gathered by Sandra Paños.
Asisat Oshoala might have netted for Barca after the break but she could not quite keep her header down.
