Lee Alexander saved three penalties as Glasgow City beat Brondby in a shoot-out to reach the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-finals.

Glasgow City’s two-goal lead over Brøndby from the first leg was wiped put as Nanna Christiansen and Frederikke Lindhardt scored in the first half. Alexander had already made some crucial saves to stop City conceding a third before her shoot-out heroics and Jo Love then stepped up to net the decisive spot-kick.
Arsenal coasted through against Slavia Praha, adding to the away win with eight goals at home. Daniëlle van de Donk and Vivianne Miedema each hit a hat-trick, Kim Little converted a penalty and Jill Roord got the other goal.
PSG were 7-1 winners over Breidablik on aggregate following a 3-1 result in Paris. Jordyn Huitema bagged a brace and Kadidiatou Diani the hosts’ other goal, Berglind Thorvaldsdóttir having levelled for the Icelandic side on half-time.
Both the quarter-final and semi-final draws will be made on 8 November, with last eight ties scheduled for 24/25 March & 1/2 April 2020.
