#UWCL: Glasgow City host Round 1 Group next week

Glasgow City are one of the group hosts for the new-look UEFA Women’s Champions League which kicks off on 17 / 18 August.

Malta’s Birkirkara are the Scottish champions first opponents, followed by either BIIK-Shymkent or Slovan Bratislava.

Arsenal travel to Moscow to play their group semi-final against Okzhetpes from Kazakhstan, Celtic make their competition debut when facing Spain’s Levante in Sweden, Swansea City take on CSKA Moscow in Cyprus and Glentoran meet Servette of Switzerland in Finland.

The third-place games followed by the finals will be played three days after the semi-finals.

Round 2 will be drawn on 22 August, with ties played over 31 August/1 September & 8/9 September.
