BT Sport are to broadcast live coverage of Chelsea and Manchester City’s UEFA Women’s Champions League Round of 16 games.
1st Leg (Weds, 3 March)
Manchester City v Fiorentina (4.45 KO, BT Sport 2)
Chelsea v Atlético Madrid (7pm KO, BT Sport 2)
BT Sport’s live coverage will kick off with Fiorentina’s trip to Manchester City at 4.30pm on 3 March on BT Sport 2, as Gareth Taylor’s side look to go one better in this year’s competition, having been eliminated by Toni Duggan’s Atlético Madrid at this stage last year. Coverage of the second leg of the clash will be shown on 11 March.
Following the game’s conclusion, the action will continue on BT Sport 2 with Atlético’s trip to Kingsmeadow, as Emma Hayes looks lead her side to the Quarter Finals. The Blues will be confident of a result as the Spanish giants have so far failed to trouble Barcelona for a top spot in the league, and currently find themselves outside the European places. The return leg will take place on 10 March.
Coverage will be presented by Clare Balding alongside former England international Claire Rafferty.
