#UWCL: Arsenal Women could face Eindhoven or Lokomotiv in group final

The UEFA Women’s Champions League 1st Round draw sees Arsenal face Kazakh opponents in the August group semi-finals.

Glasgow City face Birkirkara of Malta, Celtic first UWCL opponents are Spain’s Levante, Swansea City will face CSKA, Glentoran meet Switzerland’s FC Servette and Peamount United play Spartak Subotica from Serbia.

Hosts for the group mini-tournaments are to be confirmed shortly.

Round 1 is one of two rounds before the new 16-team group stage, which begins in October. It will be split into two paths: the champions path and the league path. In both paths, round 1 will consist of two stages, each of one-off matches: semi-finals (18 August) and finals/third-place play-offs (21 August). The winners of each final (11 in champions path, four in league path) will progress to round 2.

Group 8: Juventus v Kamenica Sasa, St Polten v Besiktas

Group 9: FC Twente v WFC Nike, Spartak Subotica v Peamount United

Group 10: Kharkiv v NSC Sofia, Pomurje Beltinci v Rigas FS

Group 11: Vllaznia (bye), Ferencvaros v Czami Sosnowiec

League Path

Group 1: TSG Hoffenheim v Valur, FC Zurich v AC Milan

Group 2: Brondby v Kristianstads, Bordeaux v Slovacko
