Chelsea dropped their first points in the UEFA Women’s Champions League with a 1-1 draw away to Real Madrid.
Group A: Vllaznia 0-4 PSG, Real Madrid 1-1 Chelsea
Group B: Wolfsburg 4-2 Roma, St Polten 1-1 Slavia Prague
Sam Kerr twice hit the woodwork for Chelsea, before Ann-Katrin Berger’s poor clearance gifted Caroline Weir a goal for Madrid. Guro Reiten won a penalty just before the hour mark, her spot-kick hit the post and went in off unfortunate keeper Misa Rodriguez. Kerr was later denied by Misa, while Berger did well to deny Olga Carmona a potential winner.
The Blues lead the group by three points and are five clear of third-placed Real, with two games to go.
PSG are two points ahead of Madrid following victory in Albania. Kadidiatou Diani converted from the spot for and then doubled the lead before the break, Ramona Bachmann and Magnaba Folquet later adding one each.
Wolfsburg moved three points ahead of Roma at the top of Group B, after defeating their Italian visitors 4-2. Ewa Payor’s diving header and a Sveindís Jonsdottir effort had the hosts two up, Roma’s Andressa Alves quickly replying from all of 35 yards. But the hosts headed themselves 4-1 up early in the second-half, Lena Lattwein and Pajor both netted headers early in the second-half, Sophie Haug then getting Roma’s second.
St Polten kept alive hopes of progressing with a Mateja Zver equaliser, Kristýna Růžičková had opened the scorig for hosts Slavia Prague, who cannot now get out of the group.
