Two Thames Valley Titles Taken

Stony Stratford comfortably clinched the Division 2 North title, continuing their unbeaten record with a 7-0 success at Summertown Stars, to move out of reach of both Haddenham and Woodstock.

The latter pair are to meet in the TVCWFL Plate Final at Wantage Town FC on 7th May (kick-off 1pm), followed by the Cup Final between Benson Lionesses and Carterton Town.

The Division 2 South honours were won by Yateley United (pictured) after they hit Sandhurst Town for six, while second-placed Holyport ended the hopes of Taplow United.

There were two goals apiece for Katie Hougham and Chantelle Lawrence, while Megan Averill and Karen Hoare also contributed to the tally.

Meanwhile in Division 1, Oxford City Development have finished their fixtures as leaders, with Benson facing a tall order to overtake them. An eight-goal away win is required by the Lionesses at Kidlington on 9th April to dislodge the top side.
