Caversham Swans and Reading-Thatcham Falcons contested the first of three Thames Valley Counties League finals at Wantage Town FC: the U-18 Cup.
Stacey Butley and Tiffany Newland scored for the Swans, who had trailed 2-1 at the break to efforts by Georgia Townsend and substitute Chloe Spencer-Ades.
Extra time brought no addition to the score and when it came to penalties, Caversham profited 4-3.

Next up was the Plate Final between Woodstock and Haddenham (pictured top), who had finished second and third respectively in Division 2 North.
A quieter affair, at least on paper, than the day’s opening game, Woodstock triumphed with the only goal of a close match, scored in the first half by Sam Bevan-Talbot.
Top of the bill was Carterton Town versus Benson Lionesses, with the latter starting the favourites, after being both league and Oxfordshire Cup runners-up.
Carterton scored first but trailed 2-1 at half-time and into the final minutes, Benson led 3-2, only for Town to equalise.
Each side netted once more in the extra 30 minutes, before Carterton came out on top, 4-3 from the spot.
