Tottenham Hotspur Women have appointed Lauren Smith as Assistant Coach following her departure from Wales Women’s coaching staff.

Smith had served as Wales Assistant Manager since 2017 and helped the senior team break into the top 30 of the FIFA Women’s Rankings for the first time.

Prior to her time with Wales, she spent seven years at Bristol City where she was named Assistant Coach in 2014, and was also manager of Cardiff City Ladies.

Jorge Vilda: “Virginia is setting an inspirational example!”
