A crowd of 21,570 saw the USA snatch a late equaliser against Australia in the Tournament of Nations 2018, while Brazil earned their first points when defeating Japan.

Australia had taken a 22nd-minute lead on the counter attack, as a Lisa De Vanna run and cross set up Chloe Logarzo to score.

Although the USA had the better of the game and its chances, they had to wait until the final minute to rescue a point.

Megan Rapinoe delivered a corner kick and Lindsey Horan headed home for a dramatic finish and 1-1 draw, which left both sides on four points with one round of games to go.

All the goals came in the last quarter of an hour, as Brazil kept up their hopes of winning the title at the expense of those of Japan, who suffered a second defeat.

Aline made several first-half saves to keep the Nadeshiko out but Marta eventually broke the deadlock after dribbling her way into penalty area

Beatriz doubled the lead at the end of regulation time, after which Japanese efforts were rewarded with a diving header by Rika Masuya.
