Casey Chapman, Amy Gibbins and Jade Matthews got the goals in a 3-2 victory at Crawley Green, which moved them beyond the reach of second in the table Evergreen Eagles.
With one league game to go, the Lionesses boast a 100% record and still have the Chris Renwick Trophy to play for, in which they visit Flitwick this Sunday (9th April) as they bid for a place in the semi-finals.
The B&HL Division 1 championship might be down to the last two or three rounds of games but five sides can mathematically still win it. Sandy are in pole position, ahead of St Albans, Sherrardswood, Bishops Stortford and Garston.
In Division 2, top spot is Watton’s for the securing with two games remaining, as Garston ’96 and Royston Town Development probably have too much to do in order to catch them.
