Three upsets in Vitality Women’s FA Cup 3rd Round Qualifying

Three tier-four teams were knocked out of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup 3rd Round Qualifying by regional league underdogs.

Fulham edged Maidenhead United 3-2 with Helen Ogle’s late winner, Frampton Rangers held onto a 1-0 lead to beat St Austell, Alnwick Town finished 3-1 winners over Chorley.

Curzon Ashton took Norton to penalties before bowing out, likewise Abingdon United against Southampton Women.

There is £4,000 for each of the winning teams at this stage, while losing sides at this stage receive £1,000 from the prize fund.
