The Essex League has seen an influx of nine new teams, taking it’s membership to three divisions of ten sides each.
Harlow Town went up to the Eastern League as champions but with the top flight having had a dozen teams, the bottom four were relegated (Wickford Town, Hutton Reserves, Alresford Colne Rangers and Walden), while Frontiers and Corringham Cosmos take the promotion places from Division 1.
Waltham Forest drop into the new second division, where they are joined by the nine newcomers, which includes a few returning teams.
The last campaign ended with 22 teams on board but the forthcoming season will see 30 sides take to the field.
