Next season Thackley AFC will be launching their first ever open-age Ladies Team. Trials for the team, which are open to any females over 16 will be held at the Mitton Group Stadium at Dennyfield on Tuesday 13th June 2017.

Thackley earlier announced the appointment of Jonathon Holden as Head Coach for their new side, that will be joining the four-divison West Riding League for the 2017-18 campaign.
Head of Female Football, Michelle Woollias will combine her role at the club to work alongside Jonathon as his number two.
Michelle says she is delighted to have secured the services of Jonathon and went on to say:
“He’s a great appointment for us and I am really looking forward to working with him and together we hope to progress through the leagues. Our facilities are Premier League standard and that is our aim.”
