Exeter say that he will undertake the same duties with the women’s and girls’ programme as he does the men’s and boys’ side of their football club.
“The time is right for us to become more actively involved in the Exeter City Ladies team and bring them even closer into the family of the club,” Tagg told exetercityfc.co.uk.
“We are very grateful to the outgoing chair Terry Schofield and his committee for all of the work that they have undertaken on behalf of the team, particularly this season, but we feel that now the time is right to take them back under the overall club umbrella.”
Tagg added: “I am delighted that the majority of the existing committee will remain involved and look forward to working with them to move the women and girls side forward.”
Exeter currently sit next to bottom in the FAWPL South West Division 1, with one point from only six games played so far.
