Celtic thrashed Dundee United to lead the ScottishPower SWPL by two points, as Rangers and Glasgow City drew one goal apiece.

Celtic’s nine goals included a Natalie Ross double, Maria McAneny effort straight from a corner and one for 15-year-old Amy Sharkey.
Kirsty MacLean sent Mia McAuley away to give Rangers the lead over Glasgow City put the leveller soon followed, as Lauren Davidson played in Brenna Lovera to score.
Spartans were two up over Hibernian through Sarah Clelland and Robyn McCafferty but they had Dion McMahon sent off as Jorian Baucom converted the penalty resulting from the foul. With the game in stoppage time, Brooke Nunn volleyed home to rescue a point for Hibs.
Hearts got both goals of the game at Aberdeen, Carla Girasoli’s opener added to by Georgia Timms, Motherwell’s Carla Boyce hit a hat-trick in their 4-0 defeat of Hamilton Academical.
Megan Robb opened scored in the first minute to set Partick Thistle on the way to a 5-0 victory over Montrose, with Cara Henderson contributing a couple including a penalty.

Gartcairn 3-5 St Johnstone
Queen’s Park and Kilmarnock both made it three wins from three games, Ellie Kane getting two of the Spiders’ six goals against Glasgow Women, while Lucie Burns, Kelsy Crainie and Jordan McLintock shared the spoils for Killie versus Stirling University.
Morgan Steedman got a treble as St Johnstone came away from Gartcairn 5-3 winners, while Livingston and Boroughmuir Thistle played out a goalless draw.
