The UEFA Executive Committee has today appointed the Swiss Football Association as hosts of the 2025 UEFA Women’s EURO.

Three rounds of voting were needed to reach a decision, France being eliminated first, Poland then falling by the wayside.

Switzerland then defeated the joint Nordics bid (Denmark/Finland/Norway/Sweden) by nine votes to four.
