Morton clinched the SWFL Division 2 Cup with a goal 2 minutes from the end of extra time in the final with Dryburgh Athletic at Ainslie Park.

Morton had got off to a flying start with two goals in the opening 10 minutes, Aimee Robertson conceded an unfortunate own-goal after a ball over the top by Laura Darroch, then Caitlin McKee rifled home from 20 yards.

Dryburgh halved the deficit by the interval when Melissa Gormley’s wind-assisted corner flew straight in and they were level before the hour mark, Hope Ramage’s free kick hitting the crossbar and going in off the back of goalkeeper Jordyn Elliot.

With a penalty shoot-out looming, Morton struck in style on 118 minutes as Darroch fired over goalkeeper Chantelle McKay from 30 yards out.
