In Sunday’s SWFL 2 Cup semi-finals, Dryburgh Athletic won 2-1 away to Glasgow Girls U-23s and Morton ran out 4-1 winners at Pollok United.
Steffi Simpson and Hope Ramage netted first half goals to propel Dryburgh into the final in only their second year as an open-age team.
Pollok’s hopes were hampered when one of their number was carried off injured, Morton’s Laura Darroch, Caitlin McKee, Hannah McGeehan and Rachel McConachie scoring one each.
Meanwhile in SWFL Division 1, North leaders Aberdeen put eight past Montrose, of which three were from Francesca Ogilvie.

Blackburn United overcame hosts Ayr United in the second-half, just one up at the break they went on to win 6-1 against the basement side, while Hamilton Academical U-23s were 3-1 winners over FC Kilmarnock U-23s.
