#SWFL1Cup: Celtic Women’s Academy reach third successive final

Scottish League Division 1 Cup holders Celtic Academy will meet Renfrew in this year’s final after defeating hosts Hibernian U-23s 2-1.

Aberdeen made it seven wins in a row with a 3-1 result at Kelty Hearts, going top of the SWFL 1 North table after Dunfermline Athletic went down 3-2 st home to East Fife. Cove Rangers defeated Deveronvale 4-1. Inverness Caledonian Thistle edged Westdyke 2-1, Buchan got both goals at Montrose and Stonehaven sunk hosts Raith Rovers 7-1.

Glasgow City Development sealed a seventh straight win in SWFL 1 South when sending Rangers Development to a 5-0 defeat. Blackburn United’s first win came with a single-goal success over Spartans Development, Queens Park beat Ayr United 5-2 and Boroughmuir Thistle went one better at FC Kilmarnock U-23s.

Edinburgh Caledonia have won all six games to date in Division 2 South East/Central after a 4-0 result over Stirling University Development, 2 West/South West is led by Rutherglen on goal-difference from Stewarton United, 2 West/Central leaders Glasgow Girls U-23s were held to a 2-2 tie by BSC Glasgow, while 2 North/East top two Dryburgh Athletic and Dundee City also shared four goals.
