Tottenham Hotspur edged Charlton Athletic 1-0 with a Kit Graham goal to reach the Adobe Women’s FA Cup quarter-finals.

Eveliina Summanen had headed against the Charlton crossbar in the first half, while Celin Bizet rifled a shot over the top.

Tegan McGowan pulled a chance wide for the Championship leaders after the break, Beth England later striking the bar for Spurs.

Graham came off the bench with 20 minutes left of the ninety and within six minutes made the breakthrough, finding the back of the net from outside the box.

Deep into stoppage-time, a Beth Roe cross was headed desperately close to her own goal by Spurs’ defender Amanda Nildén.
