The Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup 1st Round saw Strabane Athletic twice come from behind before edging Camlough Rovers on sudden-death penalties.

Strabane Athletic 3-3 (aet) Camlough Rovers (6-5 on pens)

Kascie Weir’s second goal of the game proved decisive, as Antrim went 4-2 up against Bangor in the dying minutes.

Beth Hunter scored the first of her brace in the opening minute, as Ballymena United went on to win 5-1 at Lisburn Distillery.

Lisburn Rangers, Ballyclare Comrades and Craigavon City all had walkovers in reaching the second round set for early August, where they will be joined by the NIFL Danske Bank Women’s Premiership sides.
