Work to refurbish the dressing rooms has already been completed whilst a number of other projects to upgrade the facilities are being carried out.
“It’s pleasing to see that so much hard work has been undertaken from everyone at the Club to progress off the field over the course of pre-season,” said manager Andrew Frost.
“The Community Drive venue enables us to move forward and has all the potential to host the highest level of female football.
“It’s somewhere where we can look after and call our own, as no other team will be playing there. We cannot wait for the season to get underway, as well as our first home game there.”
Both the Stoke first team and reserve side set-ups will now play at the venue, ending a seven year association with Stone Dominoes FC.
Training for the new season gets underway on Thursday, with the first pre-season friendly at FA WPL newcomers TNS following on Sunday.
